How to remove pages from a PDF
Delete unwanted pages — blank separators, duplicate scans, or pages with sensitive content.
Short answer: use Organize Pages to specify the pages to keep, or the editor's page panel to delete individual pages.
Delete specific pages in the editor
- Open the PDF in the editor.
- Click Pages in the sidebar to open the thumbnail panel.
- Click the trash icon under any thumbnail to delete that page.
- Undo (Ctrl+Z) if you removed the wrong page.
- Download when the document is correct.
Keep only selected pages
- Open Organize Pages.
- Drop your PDF.
- Enter the pages you want to keep, in order. Example:
1, 2, 5, 8 keeps those four pages in that order.
- Click Apply and download.
Before you delete
- Keep a backup. Even with undo, if you save over the original you can't get it back.
- Check page numbers twice. PDF viewers and the editor both show page numbers, but they may differ from printed numbering in the document itself (which can include a cover).
- Consider split instead. If you might need the removed pages later, use Split PDF to keep both versions.
- Redaction warning. Deleting a page hides it from the document but the file may still contain recoverable data in unused structures. For true redaction, export from the editor which rebuilds a clean PDF from the retained pages.
