Privacy Policy

What we collect

Omni PDF is designed to work without collecting personal information from you during normal use. We do not require an account, email address or any identifying information to use the editor or any of the tools.

Your files

When you open a PDF or image in Omni PDF, the file is read locally by your browser using the File API. The core editing, merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, cropping and conversion operations run entirely on your device. Files are not uploaded to a server for these features.

If a future feature requires server-side processing, it will be clearly labelled as such before you use it and will require your explicit action.

Local storage

Omni PDF uses your browser's local storage and IndexedDB to remember small interface preferences and, if you use the homepage uploader, to hand a file off to the editor page within the same session. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted.

Server logs

Static assets are served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log basic technical information such as IP address, user agent and requested URL as part of standard CDN operation. These logs are governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not combine these logs with any other data.

Cookies

Omni PDF does not set cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics by default. Browser-storage entries used for preferences are not cookies and are not shared.

Third parties

No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking scripts are loaded by default. If this changes, it will be documented here.

Children

Omni PDF is a general-purpose productivity tool. It does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page will reflect it.
